Newbie Questions how can people check how much money in the cc?

i just wondering that how can people like findout how much money it has , is it dead or alive ?

Pretty sure you just need the card holders info, ssn, dob, mmn, etc and call the issuing bank of the card and go thru the automated shit using Skype. I know for sure you can just dl an app like chipotle make an account with card holders info and if you can link the card then it’s live. If it says having an issue linking or something like that then it’s obviously dead. I’m a beginner but I believe that’s the get down.
