Is carding clothes safe?

I have seen my friends ass getting whopped by authorities for buying electronic stuff which they can easily track if they wanted someone want gilty

so my question here,anybody tried carding clothing brand from nike , or any sneaker from us and drop it in another country, do we guys get away with this
